Had my Voidwalker grab aggro with Suffering on adds after fearbomb wore off of them. Drain tanked Apex, had to pop a healthstone but no potions. Nightfall procs are FTW in this fight.
I was planning to use Sacrifice on the Voidwalker if things got really grim, but it wasn't needed. If you're having trouble, this might help. Comment by Thottbot OMG! What quest is this associated with?
I have the Apex Crystal Focus and have no idea what quest it goes with! Please help! Comment by Thottbot newly turned lvl 70 Combat mace rogue. I used a simgle super healing potion, blew all the Cooldowns and just beat him to death. Very handy. Comment by Thottbot soloed as a 70 hunter BM with un fed pet and had no problem even without the happy pet damage bonus.
Comment by Thottbot 70 UD shadow priest, he was pretty easy. Adds are fearable but he's not so fear bomb then burn them down on their way back.

Kited him a long way to Area Comment by Thottbot Solo'd It wasn't really that hard. I sent my pet in to get aggro for one or two waterbolts, then I jumped in.
As soon as he came close, I iceblocked, and he went back to my pet. When the adds came, I used the pet's nova, unblocked, then started again.
Had to use a Super Healing Pot, mana emerald, and a cold snap. If you use your ice block right, and FF down Apex while you nova the adds, it's not too bad. A little annoying, but you can definitely do it if you do it right.
Comment by Thottbot 69 destro wlock soloed on first try. Died to the adds though. Start the fight at one corner and when he shrinks and spawns an add run to the other side fo the bridge and the add should lose aggro and dissapate.
Rinse and Repeat and he isn't that hard. Comment by Thottbot level 69 shadow priest solod , just had to use 1 super healing potion , just note he is immune to fear but his little helpers arent , so when hes on low health and his adds come just use psychic scream , GL XD.

What I did was dps him down, keep my DoT's up, and then fear then he broke into 3 fragments. I only had to heal once. Very soloable. Comment by Thottbot Shammies, two words: Earth Elemental. Not easy but not too hard if you keep yourself dotted with Renew, i raided earlier and forgot to switch out my renew rank 7 so it was a bit off but it healed me along with PoM.

I tanked and spanked him dead, without me or pet going below half hp, and then gave his little 6 adds a good talking to, again without us going below half hp. The easiest "Kill an Elite and gimme that from him" Quest. Good luck all, and happy soloing. Used no pot except for frenzied regeneration. Start off cat, pounce mangle,shred if clearcasting shred again then get up to 5 combo points RIP. Go bear, mangle, enrage,lacerate to 5 and mangle again. Then the rest is up to u.

The only real problem is that he splits into about 4 minor mobs after you dps him down enough - then they all start beating on you.
