I'm sure everyone thinks of these when they see Onew. But the list goes on and on: respectful, introverted, unselfish, generous, and non-confrontational.
To describe his personality in one word is pretty much impossible, but the closest would probably be "caring. Not just his friends, family, and members; but also his coworkers and fans. According to Key, Onew also has another side - one that is very hardworking. But he also has another persona - he's strict when it comes to work and sometimes his wild side comes out. He continuously practices and believes he needs to do things right. Minho is known as a "Hyung-ho" so you can imagine how cute these two are together!
Onew and Minho are so sweet with each other. They joke and play around a lot with each other. It's super cute to watch! Constant hugs, interlocking fingers and what looks like watered down aegyo. It's like something out of those cheesy romance manga that we all love and adore! Onew and Key. Two people with two VERY different personalities. Onew keeps his thoughts to himself except when it's a really bad joke xD , and Key prefers to say everything that's on his mind with absolutely no filter.
Back in the members were asked to say one good and bad thing about the other members during an interview. Onew said he and Key weren't close enough to share the bad points, but that's perfectly okay. That was 6 years ago! Friendships grow and change over time! As the years have gone by, we've started to see them taking more selfies together, complimenting each other more, wearing each other's clothes, and even holding hands at times. It's been beautiful to watch them grow together!
Onew and Jonghyun seem a lot alike. Both of them like spending time by themselves, but can also be so extra! They're both older than the rest of the rest of the members and I'm sure they share a connection because of that!
How to describe what they were like together? They were super cute but not in a too much PDA sort of way. These two are probably the most adorable people on the face of the earth and are definitely super close with each other! When they were still trainees, Onew and Taemin would practice singing together on the roof of the SM building and in lessons Taemin would always stand next to Onew. As they stayed together through the years, they became more and more affectionate. When they're together, Onew sometimes seems like the second maknae!
Goofing off with each other, telling bad jokes yes Onew I'm talking about you xD , lots of skinship. Onew was once asked whether he loved Yoogeun or chicken more - he picked chicken because chicken had been with him for longer.
When I asked her how she knew, she told me she recognized "that voice" because it was so "unique. Her comment made me so happy because I listen to a lot of different groups, but she could automatically pick out Onew's voice. Onew's vocal tone is beautifully distinct. It's not one you usually hear in kpop, which is really refreshing. But it isn't just his tone that is great, Onew is a fantastic vocalist as well.
He usually gets lower parts and has a lot of sections where he has to harmonize with the members. You dont have a place here, bitch. Before you talk about these 5 sweet, funny and adorable singers, you should learn a thing or two about general knowledge. They are amazing friends OKAY? All of them are lovable, cute and friendly… Jonghyun is not the Lucifer…. Go get a better screen because yours is obviously cracked!!! Look at yourself before talking about others! You are either blind and deaf or just very stupid!
And then you write shit about all the members. Everyone in shinee is very talented and has a great personality and appearance! I have to admit even if he is my bias that Minhos rap is nothing compared to zicos etc but he is still talented, funny, adorable and handsome af! Ignoring the outright mean spirit this blogger exhibits, I want to express my opinion on something that I felt was worrying about this article. Namely the personal attack on Jonghyuns character.
I have always felt that Jonghyun was one of the more genuine idols out there. He has always struck me as having a very grounded personality and sincerity which is refreshing.
His support of the lgbt community just sealed the deal for me in making him one of my all time favourite people out there…. However unless they have done something personally to you, then the vitriol with which you attack them is completely uncalled for. This one, however, just disgusted me. So I found this blog a long time ago, reading up on Super Junior personality analyses. And I was slightly appalled by your outright bashing of other members, but paid no real mind to it.
It is another to say that it sounds like a cat getting raped. As a writer and a generally good person on most days , this looks bad on your part. As a fellow writer, your personality and character analyses would be much better and more viable if you provided sources and reasons behind the opinions you have. I know that this is an option, albeit a rude, biased, and condescending one, but they have the right of write what they want. Remember you Shawols that an option is a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.

I actually find your little article quite pathetic. You obviously have a bias towards Onew. Did he tell you this personally? And if he was, he can do whatever he wants in his free time. I know his popularity skyrocketed when he was in two musicals and co-hosted several variety shows. Overall, he has a very positive image in Korea, well accepted by both industry and public, and have steadily built himself a distinguishable character so he does have a bit of a name value on his own.
This is a popular term to used to describe an easy to approach guy with clean looks and likeable personality, a feel-good type of guy most girls would want to date.
The end, no more of this stuff. People forget Onew during Replay era was soft-spoken, calm and had shy air about him and he only started developing a goofy character after he became comfortable in variety shows. Onew said himself that he used to be a shy person but has grown to become outgoing with age. He read the messages from fans on their official website after their appearance, and the messages were harsh, I think he snapped at that point, left an answer asking whether he needs to be smiling all the time.
I went to a male-based site for questioning Err because.. Initially Onew did show biased affections towards Taemin, and I personally think Onew was paying extra attention to him being the maknae.
