Where is stonecore in wow

The mount drops in both normal and heroic so you can run multiple normal runs rather than only doing one run and then coming back the next day. The gnome Millihouse Manastorm who you freed in The Arcatraz prison turns up but he just runs away and you don't get to face off against him.

If you killed him, he wouldn't be able to come back in the Garrisons of Warlords of Draenor expansion but then this game does ignore time paradoxes to allow you to kill characters that you kill in a future expansion.

There are a total of 4 bosses in this instance and they are listed below in order of encounter as you progress through the dungeon. There's no register feature and no need to give an email address if you don't need to. All messages will be reviewed before being displayed. Comment by moosandra Soloing normal Stonecore for the mount at Just take out the 3 packs with Millhouse starting with the earthrager. If you can handle the beating, you can just kite all three groups I personally take out the Earthragers as I go and not have to deal with Milhouse three times.

Let Millhouse pull the worm boss. The worm boss will ignore you if you just run along the corner to the next area. Nothing here can see stealth for the appropriate classes. Run the gauntlet and take the dragon out. After the dragon is dead, jump in the teleporter, run out. Rinse and repeat. Comment by Nightwisp Requires item lvl Comment by KingdomKnight I was able to solo this as a twink 82 ilvl Pally.

I died three times. First time because I got disconnected. Second time because I pulled poorly and ended up with 3 packs on me. I recommend you pay special attention to the scouts. The third time I pulled too many followers at once thinking I could pull them all. This place is really pretty easy if you know what you're doing and don't get sloppy like I did.

They both resemble each other. While Stonecore's ruler is somewhat of a good nature, The Vortex ruler is of a Evil nature and is sided with the antagonist. Both Areas are ruled by a elemental Lord. And the Stonecore was watched over and ruled by Therazane the Stonemother, until the Twilight Hammer assaulted it. And most importantly for farmers and collectors it houses 2 Dragons both being the 2nd boss of the instance that have a chance to drop a Flying mount that resembles the Boss. I thought these were interesting an might be worth pointing out.

Let me know what you think and add any noticeable things you also want to point out. Comment by worthit Just a little info Normal You can enter this dungeon on foot at lvl You can queue this dungeon as specific dungeon lvl In the specific dungeon finder, this dungeon is yellow difficulty lvl You can queue this dungeon as random dungeon lvl You have to be lvl 82 to obtain the quests. Comment by KittyKatBar As a feral druid this is very simple to do if you plan to run this just for the stone drake mount chance. For Millhouse, he will leap back and forth between mobs if you don't clear them out when you encounter them. So make sure to clear each one, and take your time - don't bother with the reset method, it takes longer and won't always work. If the mobs pile up, even on normal, sometimes they can be kind of overwhelming.

Once they are done though and the worm blasts millhouse away, just stealth through all other mobs and you can go right to Slabhide. Good luck fellow kitties. Comment by Aviatrixx The Stonecore is a great dungeon for experience, and the second boss Slabhide has a chance to drop one of the awesomest mounts in-game, the Vitreous Stone Drake VSD. When in a random dungeon group, beware of the mob groups after Slabhide.. Also, make sure you target the Sentries, or they will quickly pull more mobs.

Comment by Hazbroz Anyone else notice the piece of steel that used on deathwing's jaw? Right before Priestess Azil with the Devotees and the Orge. Comment by Kiyoine I just thought it very interesting that the last time I ran this instance trying for the mount pre You can see for yourself the loot tables of those trash mobs by going to the "NPCs" tab and checking out those humanoids.

I'm on my 9th run of the hour so far, clearing every pack Millhouse runs to as well as the large pack where Corborus spawns, and other than cloth of which, only 5.

I can't say they've removed notable items from the trash loot tables entirely but it sure as heck feels that way. If not removed, reduced to almost nothingness. This buff is applied to all party members and will persist through death.

New players joining a dungeon in-progress will also receive the buff if it was activated before they got there. Comment by nuacount4f For future reference, this may happen to you. I just ran this with my 84 Blood DK tank, entire group was wiped right before Ozruk.

I was instantly under 'attack' though nothing was there, five seconds later ALL the mobs from the Ozruk area had run up at me from their spawn points and I was killed in about two seconds. Ressed again, teleport, didn't occur again, but when I finally got to the rest of the group in Ozruk's area, the mobs closest to the boss had disappeared, yet all the others were still present. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else, and be aware that you may be wiped if you take the teleport.

Comment by trogstar It would be appreciated if Blizzard could add a third "Stonecore Teleporter" pad to the end of the dungeon, that activates after the death of High Priestess Azil , to facilitate the completion of Followers and Leaders.

Comment by Suddenphenix For those of us looking for coords and simple instructions: There is a portal to deepholm in the earthen ring area in stormwind approx Fly out and up to your left. Stone Core meeting stone is at Comment by YungGnome If you're like me and busy farming both the mount AND some cata reputation then consider this strategy: When the boss spawns, it blows away like a dozen NPCs that'd otherwise give 15 rep each on heroic.

We don't want that. If you only "kill" Millhouse once at the entrance and then chainpull every mob right to that group then you can kill this extra group before going for Millhouse and spawning the boss. Comment by Lyleash Guess nobody Stonecores difficultuy.

Pre-nerf This was the hardest Heroic in Cata if not the game. It was common after the pug formed that people would drop right away because dealing with the 30 minute lockout was easier than this heroic. The first bit was pretty simple with you trying to force Millhouse to retreat before the tank couldn't handle the other mobs, one or more forms of CC were required on each pull up to the first boss.

The first boss was pretty simple until it burrowed. It would do a quick strike and go back underground. Not really an issue until you add the 2 following into the picture. While burrowing under the ground 2 types of adds spawned. The normal adds that the tank needs to pick up otherwise healer aggro, and the 2nd mob, oh joy. They go down fast, just don't ignore them. Second Corborus casts a spell that prevents you from being healed until you have been healed so much so it might be awhile until you actually get healed or if the healer was smart and healed it ahead of time , better hope the boss doesn't target you again.

Wasn't uncommon for people to get hit with the burrow attack while trying to pick up or run from mobs. Could be chaos. The mobs after this and the boss Slabehide was the easiest part of this entire heroic, just stand behind the rock when he does his aoe, easy.

Now after this boss is when the instance goes into overdrive. The room leading up to the next boss is a super small room with lots of packs of mobs close by each other. I called this the asspull room because someone was gonna do it. WoW doesn't tend to have small rooms like this with lots of packs for a reason but this was a sole exception.
